In collaboration with Klarwin, Resource Loop successfully deployed an advanced leachate collection and management solution across multiple landfill sites in Europe.
The project demonstrates how partnership-driven design and engineering can deliver tangible environmental and operational benefits — aligning with Resource Loop’s mission to connect proven Australian technologies to international markets.

Landfill operators across Europe face a common issue:

• Leachate build-up in steep cell walls,
• Difficult pump access for maintenance, and
• Ongoing compliance with strict environmental discharge regulations.

Traditional vertical riser systems often increase installation time and risk, especially on cells with complex geometries and membrane safety considerations.

Through our strategic partnership with Klarwin, Resource Loop delivered and commissioned five purpose-built leachate pumps across three European landfill sites.

Each installation featured our side wall riser leachate collection system, purpose-engineered to:

• Enable safe membrane integration on steep cell walls.
• Simplify installation through the utilisation of standard parts and fittings.
• Improve long-term access and maintenance safety.
• Reduce total system cost through lower OPEX and faster deployment.

• 5 x Resource Loop leachate pumps with full riser and manifold configuration
• Continuous side wall riser design with deal with engineered bends through benches
• High-efficiency pneumatic pump control panels for data driven monitoring.
• Integrated monitoring to track leachate levels and pump performance remotely
